Pop culture is a prime example of post production because it takes normal things from everyday life and makes it look glamorous, it also goes on to challenge what art really means and what people clss as ‘art’.

A good point of advertising is borrowing from other, past works, this can put a view on , political commentary and critique. They could also be used in a way that they can create senses of humour, nostalgia. Nostalgia creates an emotional connection, people think back to their past lives and simpler time. people tend to have rose tinted glasses on the past and the bad is filtered out, this therefore creates a positive feelings towards the advert.
‘Bricolage’ is the construction or creation from a diverse range of avaliable thhings that doesnt really have a clear end or goal in mind. It comes from the French word ‘bricolar’ which means to tinker or do it yourself and that leads on to the improvisation in a human endeavor.
‘Intertexuality’ is the relationship between two things making it more understandable. Examples of intertexuality


These adverts use things around them which people know, then they use other imagery which are also well known to make a link between the two things and create the message they are trying to portray.
